Institute of Power Electronics and Electric Traction

Power electronics and electric traction Institute was founded in 2004, mainly engaged in the research and teaching work in the power electronics and electric traction areas, playing an important role in the applications of rail traffic electric traction, green energy conversion, and special power supply. Currently, the Institute consists of 15 academic and about 100 postgraduate students; thirteen of them have the doctoral degrees; six of them have the education experience of studying or visiting abroad for more than one year; two of them won the ZhanTianYou Railway Science and Technology Prize - Youth Prize; and one of them won the Delta Scholar. At present, the institute has more than 30 patents and more than 20 software copyrights.
